Tye Tribbett.... gospelový zpěvák a skladatel z New Jersey. Jeho otec byl kazatel a maminka dirigentka. Tye prý uměl dřív hrát na piano, než odříkat abecedu. V roce 1996 založil sbor, který si říká G.A. Tahle zkratka znamená Greater Anointing, větší pomazání. Ve sboru zpívali hlavně přátelé a členové rodiny. A rodina je to dodnes.
Písnička, kterou se budeme učit, ale vznikla docela náhodou při nahrávání jiného gospelového hudebníka. Dotyčný (nenašla jsem nikde, kdo to vlastně byl) začal najednou hrát na klavír... a Tye Tribbetta se to tak dotklo, že začal zpívat. Výsledkem je "naše" písnička.
